Celebrities Light the Night at Grand Opening of New “CLUTCH” Restaurant

R&B Crooners Jagged Edge, Jermaine Dupri and more of Atlanta’s class acts were on hand to officially open the doors of the newest addition to the ATL culinary scene – CLUTCH Restaurant in Brookhaven.
CLUTCH promises a variety of satisfying delectables like tempura fried “Cauliflower Bites” drizzled with a kick’n honey garlic sauce, “The Legendary Vegan Burger,” “Linguini Ras Pasta,” Lamb Chops with a bourbon glaze, Sea Bass, Filet Mignon, Brownie Ala Mode and more.
It’s the latest venture from the iconic entrepreneur, Lemont Bradley, who also owns celebrity-famed car wash and eatery, “Auto Spa Bistro” along with its more environmentally friendly counterpart, “Exo Car Spa.”

The invited diners at the soft Grand Opening feasted on a curated buffet of Spinach Dip, Deviled Eggs, Garden Salad, Fried Wings, French Fries, Vegan Sloppy Joes, and Salmon while the “Sound Experience” band was on stage belting out smooth tunes for listening. The noteworthy talents of young vocalist, Hylan Star (you are sure to hear more from him soon) set us up before the featured “Jagged Edge” turnt up with a few of their hits.

The room is gently appointed with comfortable booths around the walls and café seating to accommodate a variety of party sizes. We counted 9 video screens angled around the space that made sure everyone had a clear view of the stage or maybe the game on a regular night. The staff is congenial and efficient.
The restaurant was originally set to open in 2018 but was pushed back by licensing issues, sprinkler issues, the Covid pandemic and protests. Now, on the other side of those battles, CLUTCH is looking to promote themed nights for every day of the week. Look for “Meatless Mondays,” “Taco Tuesdays,” “Comedy Nights” on Wednesday, and more. For the month of July, CLUTCH will open for dinner Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and brunch on Sundays. Bradley hopes to bring on some of the celebrities who frequent his auto spa – Lil’ Baby, T.I. and others - to host the themed nights.
The main dining room at CLUTCH features a full bar offering a tempting array of liquor, cocktails, beer and wine. We had the “Hennessy Margarita” which was perfectly made with Hennessy, Grand Marnier and Roses sweet lime and did not disappoint. The concoction priced in the mid-range of the scale at $17 but you can chug your favorites and signature mixes like the “Clutch-arita” from around $10 - $20.
CLUTCH is sure to be a “great night out” for most any occasion and a welcomed hot spot for metro Atlanta.
